Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s accountability meeting was held in Kolhapur on Sunday. In this meeting, when State Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde stood up to give a speech, the farmers present in the Sabha Mandap moved forward with banners in their hands. They showed Minister Dhananjay Munde a banner with the words “We are not terrorists, we are farmers and we want to express our plight, give us five minutes.” This action of the farmers created panic in the meeting for some time. The policemen present there immediately snatched that banner from the hands of those farmers and threw it out of the venue.
But this action of the farmers caused huge discussion at the venue. The news of farmers showing banners to Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde spread throughout the city.
Let us tell you that these days the condition of farmers in Maharashtra is very bad. Farmers are troubled due to the wrong policies of the government.
