The Rohit Sharma-led team trained in the “chilling” Mohali weather, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) offered a sneak peak at it. In light of the fact that Indian players won’t have many opportunities to play as a unit before the T20I World Cup in June, head coach Dravid acknowledged on Wednesday that they must maintain mental flexibility.
The last Twenty20 International assignment for India before the world cup is the three-match series against Afghanistan, which gets underway in Mohali on Thursday.
In that regard, Dravid said that the management’s choice of the squad would also need to rely somewhat on the IPL 2024.
