Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Wednesday that the inauguration of the magnificent BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi has ushered in a new golden age in the annals of humanity for the United Arab Emirates. Prime Minister Modi stated at the inauguration ceremony that the BAPS Hindu Mandir’s completion culminates years of diligent effort.
The United Arab Emirates has authored a momentous epoch in human history as of today. At this location, a magnificent and divine temple is being dedicated. Quite a few years of diligent effort have gone into achieving this point. “Lord Swaminarayan’s blessings are associated with this occasion,” stated Modi.
“The holy festival of Basant Panchami is today.” This event commemorates Maa Saraswati, the deity associated with prudence, awareness, and wisdom. He continued, “I hope this temple will welcome Basant for the betterment of humanity and the future.”
Prime Minister Modi lauded the UAE government’s contribution to the BAPS Hindu Mandir’s construction, stating that the temple will serve as an emblem of harmony and unity.
The prime minister stated that he owned a “father-son relationship” with Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the guru and Pramukh of the main branch of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha.
“As a result of my paternal influence, I enjoyed his support and benefits for an extended period. “Even when I was the CM and then the PM, he would offer me clear-spoken advice,” Modi remarked.
In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested that UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan receive a standing ovation from the audience.
Minister of the UAE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan greeted Prime Minister Modi, describing him as a “great friend and representative of a great and friendly nation like India.”
Al Nahyan stated, “Your visit to the UAE clearly indicates the profound friendship, trust, and cooperation that have long existed between India and the UAE and which you have strengthened.”
