In response to direct questions from the media on Saturday about his alleged intention to collaborate with the Bharatiya Janata Party before the Lok Sabha polls, Congress leader Kamal Nath avoided answering them. When asked to refute the notion that he is considering leaving the party led by Mallikarjun Kharge, the politician stated he would first speak with the media. BJP switch in question.
“Why are you guys getting so excited?” Nath stated, following his arrival in Delhi. Then, a reporter made the observation that he was not tactfully refuting the allegations.
“You are saying this and getting thrilled, it’s not about denying it. I’m not getting enthusiastic about this side or that side, but I would let you know if anything of that sort happened,” he continued.
Nakul Nath, the MP from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, and son of Kamal Nath, has deleted the word Congress from his X bio and is now only identified as an MP.
Kamal Nath had been camping in Chhindwara, the family’s small borough. He served the constituency nine times in the lower chamber of the Parliament.
The speculation that the Congress is not at the core of the Nath family’s future political intentions appears to have been fueled by his unilateral pronouncement that he will run for the Lok Sabha seat from the constituency.
Dilip Singh refutes rumours.
Reportedly, Digvijaya Singh refuted them. But he also brought up Nath’s lengthy history with the Nehru-Gandhi family, who have led the Congress party.
“A person who started his political journey and stood with the Nehru-Gandhi family when Indira Gandhi was sent to jail by the Janata Party, do you think such a person will ever leave Congress and the Gandhi family?” stated Singh.
An open invitation from the BJP VD Sharma, the state president of the BJP, stated yesterday that other top Congress leaders who are disappointed that the party declined their invitation to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ event of Ayodhya’s Ram Temple are welcome to visit the party.
Since India has Ram in its heart, I’m telling you about the environment today. We have kept our doors open since some in Congress believe that Congress boycotts Lord Ram. Some individuals are hurt and upset by Congress’s insults to him, and they ought to be given an opportunity. When asked about Kamal Nath, Mr. Sharma responded, “Those whose names you are taking are also welcome if they have pain in their hearts.”
Several MLAs rose up against Kamal Nath, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, and overthrew the government.
The BJP crushed the Congress in the Madhya Pradesh elections of 2023, taking 163 out of 230 assembly seats. Later on, Kamal Nath was replaced as the head of the Madhya Pradesh unit.
Rumours of Kamal Nath’s transfer surfaced a few days after Ashok Chavan and Milind Deora left the Congress.
Congress refutes reports.
The reports were deemed unfounded by the Congress.
“In the 45 years of Kamal Nath’s political career, in both our good times and bad, he has been working with the party for the last 7 years as Madhya Pradesh Congress head. When Kamal Nath first fought elections, Indira Gandhi claimed that Kamal Nath is her third son. I still recall how all of the Congressmen supported Kamal Nath’s leadership and philosophy when Scindia overthrew the Congress government in MP. The rumours circulating are unfounded; can you envision Indira Gandhi’s third son quitting the party? I can’t even imagine thinking of something like that,” Jitu Patwari, the Congress leader, remarked.
