Gangster Sandeep, also known as Kala Jathedi, was given custody parole by Delhi’s Dwarka court on Monday, March 4, so he could officially marry lady Don Anuradha Chaudhary, also known as “Madam Minz.”
For Kala Jathedi to attend the wedding in the nation’s capital on March 12 and “Grih Pravesh” in Sonipat, Haryana, on March 13, the court granted her six-hour detention parole.
The Delhi police are to prepare for security and safety, and the court has ordered that Kala Jathedi be brought into police custody for his marriage on March 12 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. In addition, the court directed the police to transport Jathedi to his village on March 13 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for the Grih Pravesh ritual.
Notably, after reviewing the Delhi Police’s response and assessing the arguments put out by Kala Jathedi’s attorney, Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Deepak Wason granted the relief.
According to reports, Kala Jathedi asked for detention parole on humanitarian grounds so that he could attend his wedding and the Grih Pravesh ceremony, which is when the newlyweds move into their new home together.
Attorney Rohit Dalal submitted applications, claiming that Article 21 recognises the right to marriage as a constitutional right. According to the provisions of the Hindu Marriage Act of 1955, it was contended that the petitioner, or accused, and his fiancée are both of legal age. Furthermore, it was argued that Article 21 of the Constitution would be violated and prejudice would result from denying the applicant/accused marriage.
The plea claimed that because the accused’s father is likewise bedridden, no one is available to care for the accused’s mother.
When Sandeep, also known as Kala Jathedi, was apprehended in 2021, he had a reward of Rs 7 lakh. He was captured in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, by the Delhi Police’s special unit, nearly 200 km from the city.
Sandeep was wanted by the authorities in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana for various charges, including murder and extortion. In addition, to settle the Jatheri case, the Delhi Police worked with the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Notably, Sandeep and Anuradha first crossed paths in 2020 while they were both on the Delhi Police’s “most wanted” list. Anuradha was granted bail, and the pair continued their connection through meetings arranged through the court system, while Jathedi has been incarcerated since 2021. The mobster Anuradha, also known as Madam Minz, is a graduate in computer applications and has been charged with multiple murder, extortion, and kidnapping crimes in Rajasthan.
People acquainted with their relationship said that Jathedi was mesmerised by Anuradha’s fluency in English and her ability to shoot Kalashnikov explosions, as reported by TOI.
Anuradha believed that her life had come to an end after her former buddy, the notorious mobster Anandpal, was killed in a police confrontation in the summer of 2017. Then, Raju Basodi, Anandpal’s adversary, became aware of Anuradha. At this point, she received assistance from gangster Balbir Banuda. She had gotten in touch with Bishnoi by 2019 and subsequently became acquainted with Jathedi, a senior police official, as reported by TOI.
