After the release of a video showing a Mumbai guy doing risky tricks on a bike with two other ladies, the city police have detained the rider and suspended his license.
In the footage, a guy could be seen doing a wheelie as two girls were riding on each side of him. The guy is seen riding for a few meters after raising the front wheels off the ground.
According to PTI, which cited Mumbai police authorities, the accused is a history-sheeter who had complaints filed against him at the Antop Hill and Wadala TT police stations.
A video of the accused doing a risky stunt on his bike while riding with two females recently went popular on social media. The event took place in the city’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) neighborhood. A team was put together to find him after the video leaked, and a complaint was filed against him, an official said.
The officer stated that the suspect was allegedly detained after receiving a tip.
He was detained, according to the police, in accordance with pertinent parts of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC), such as section 308 (attempt to commit culpable murder), and the Motor Vehicles Act. A thorough investigation is now being conducted.
In spite of the fact that viewing the footage can be downright terrifying, those riding the bikes seemed to be having a blast doing the feat. The ladies seemed to be laughing, waving, and even flashing gang signs in the middle of the act, particularly the one seated in front of the rider facing the rear. None of the three passengers were wearing helmets.
