In a gruesome event, a man is accused of killing a nine-year-old girl in Udaipur, Rajasthan, by chopping up her body into various parts and stuffing them inside plastic bags.
Kamlesh, a 20-year-old school dropout, has been named as the suspect by the police.
He has been questioned in relation to the incident.
Police stated that they have not yet found any evidence to support the theory that the nine-year-old girl was raped before the murder.
The girl was reported missing by police on March 29. Her body parts were found on Saturday night in an abandoned residence in the Mavli neighbourhood of Udaipur after some nearby people complained about a bad stench coming from the abandoned property.
In the same neighbourhood as the victim. Vikas Sharma, the caretaker of police, claimed that the accused resided close to the victim’s home.
