In response to Rahul Gandhi’s recent remarks on the state of Indian democracy made in the UK, the BJP president JP Nadda led his party’s attack on the Congressman on Friday. He accused Gandhi of turning into a “permanent part of the toolkit” working against India that seeks a weak government here so as to profit from it
.
In a statement, Nadda charged Gandhi of adopting the “anti-India” views of billionaire financier George Soros and said that the Congress and “so-called Left liberals” had joined the “deep state” plot against the nation. He claimed that “anti-national” Congress politicians had begun using Pakistani dialects.
Gandhi will need to apologise to the Indian people for his “sin” of wanting foreign governments to “interfere” in India’s domestic affairs, according to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader.
He charged the previous head of the Congress of working with foreign adversaries to economically and strategically surround India. He said that no leader in independent India had ever accomplished what Gandhi had on foreign territory.
Nadda said, “This is a very serious subject,” adding that what the Congress leader had done had harmed not just the country’s citizens but also each and every patriotic MP.
According to him, those who are fighting against India want a weak administration that serves their interests by being forced to form an alliance.
According to the BJP president, anti-Indian elements have always had issues with a powerful India, its strong democracy, and its capable leadership. Gandhi has undermined the nation’s sovereignty by criticising the level of democracy in India and calling for American and European action on foreign land, he said.
Rahul Gandhi has consistently been rejected by the public, therefore he has integrated himself into the “toolkit” used to undermine India, according to Nadda.
He charged the previous head of the Congress of insulting the British people as well as the people of India’s erstwhile colonial master, Britain, as well as the country’s Parliament and democratically elected government. According to the BJP president, Gandhi has strengthened those who are opposed to India.
Gandhi won’t apologise, the Congress claims, in response to the BJP’s charges. He has asked for permission to address the Houses of Parliament in order to address the criticism that members of the governing party have levelled at him. The debate has so far resulted in a washout in the legislative process.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nadda said that India has grown to be the fifth-largest economy and is hosting the G20 conference, whereas Gandhi decided to “insult” the nation abroad.
Nothing could be more repugnant than requesting meddling from the US and Europe in India while asserting that there is no longer democracy there, the man remarked.
The BJP president said it was sad that Gandhi sought outside meddling from Britain given that nation’s prior colonial domination over India.
