Yuvraj Singh, a flamboyant former all-rounder for India, met Rishabh Pant, a recuperating wicketkeeper-batter who was injured in a terrible car accident, and declared that the champion will rise once again.
Yuvraj knows a thing or two about what it takes to recover from the brink after pulling off one of the greatest comebacks in the history of the sport.
Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer shortly after his accomplishments in the 2011 World Cup. He had treatment in the US before rejoining the Indian squad.
“Baby steps forward! This champion will return to victory. It was nice catching up and laughing. Such a cheerful and humorous man! More strength, @rishabpant “Yuvraj sent a tweet on his Twitter account.
In March 2012, after his third and last round of chemotherapy, Yuvraj was released from the hospital. He got cancer known as mediastinal seminoma.
Returning to Pant, the Indian actor recently offered his fans a peek at his healing process. As part of his rehabilitation, Pant uploaded a video to social media with the comment, “Grateful for simple things, large things, and everything in between.” David Warner has been selected the new captain of Delhi Capitals, Pant’s franchise, as Pant will not be participating in the 2023 IPL. Warner’s assistant will be Axar Patel.
Pant, 25, unexpectedly escaped when his Mercedes automobile crashed with a barrier and caught fire on the Delhi-Dehradun highway while he was travelling to his hometown of Roorkee in the early hours of December 30.
