Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was supposedly speaking with Musarrat Jamshed Cheema about recent court events and the Chief Justice of Pakistan’s (CJP) answer in a fresh audio leak, according to media sources on Thursday.
The PTI representative, who was held by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday, was heard asking about the latest developments in the allegedly recorded discussion between Imran Khan and PTI leader Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, according to ARY News.
In response, Cheema said that they had sent a “message to them and that we are now seated in the high court. We ordered them to bring Khan Sahib before us or we would remain on the grounds of the high court.
Khan reportedly criticized his arrest and referred to it as “malicious” whatever they did.
“You need to file a case against whatever they did today at the Supreme Court as well. What is Chief Justice doing?” Khan was heard asking in the allegedly recorded audio, according to ARY News.
Khan was then informed by Cheema that NAB officers had just arrived and were being questioned. Salman Safdar was instructed to urge them to submit him to the court or we would not depart. The Chief Justice will also hear your case.
Khan said, “No, they give him commands. Azam should be contacted and asked to speak with the others, according to ARY News.
The PTI leader should be promptly freed, the Supreme Court ordered on Thursday, describing Khan’s detention by Pakistan’s anti-corruption authority as unlawful. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was in charge of Khan.
