An early-morning fire on Thursday in Maharashtra’s Thane district damaged a scrap godown, according to a fire brigade officer.
According to the official, nobody was hurt in the fire that started at the godown in Katai village, Bhiwandi, about 3 am.
It took three hours for Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation firefighters to put out the fire. He said that everything in the godown was destroyed.
The official said that cooling procedures are being carried out but that the source of the fire has not yet been determined.
