On June 5, there will be no water in some areas of Jogeshwari East including Andheri East and West. According to the BMC Water Supply Department, the work of connecting the pipeline will be done on Cardinal Gracious Road near Ramya Jeevan Society in Andheri East. The repair work will be done from 8 am to 12 midnight on June 5. During the pipeline repair work, there will be no water supply in many parts of Jogeshwari East including Andheri East and West. BMC has appealed to the people to use water sparingly during this period.
The work of laying a new 1500 mm diameter pipeline and connecting a 1200 mm Parle outlet at BD Samant Marg Chowk near Mahakali Cave in Andheri East will be done on Monday. The pipeline connection and repair work will last for 16 hours.
Due to repairs, there will be no water supply in Jogeshwari East including Andheri East and West from 8 am to 12 midnight on Monday. Jogeshwari East includes Tripathi Nagar, Munshi Colony, Basti Wala Compound, Collector Colony, Durga Nagar, Matoshree Club, and Durga Nagar Area.
There is no water in these areas of Mumbai – Andheri East including Vishal Hall, Verma Nagar, Kamgar Kalyan, Manjrekar Wadi, Bima Nagar, Gundavali Gavathan Panthaki Bagh, Teli Gali, Koldongri, Jeeva Mahale Road, Saivadi, Jeevan Vikas Kendra Marg. Apart from this, there will be no water in Shivaji Nagar, Sambhaji Nagar, Hanuman Road, Shraddhanand Road, Nehru Road, Tejpal Road, Shastri Nagar, Rajendra Prasad Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Kajuwadi.
The domestic airport of Vile Parle East, Amrit Nagar, Rambagh, Chakala Gavthan, Chakala Wajan Kata, and Mora village and Juhu village area in Andheri West will not get water supply.
