In the case of the sexual exploitation of women wrestlers, the Special Investigation Team of Delhi Police has taken major action. In this case, the SIT reached Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh’s native village Bishnoharpur in Gonda, where the team recorded the statements of 12 people. The police have recorded the statements of Brij Bhushan’s close aides, associates, and security personnel. Along with this, the team has also questioned Brij Bhushan.
On the other hand, wrestler Sakshi Malik has said that the former WFI president should have been arrested by now. She said that there should be a fair investigation into this matter. Along with this, he is afraid that after this the career of many wrestlers will be at stake. He said that our fight will continue till we get justice. We have not withdrawn our protest and we will never do so. We will continue to protest till we get justice.
And before this, wrestler Bajrang Punia said about the end of the protest that the news of the withdrawal of the protest is just a rumor. This news is being spread to harm us. We have neither retreated nor have we withdrawn the protest. The news of women wrestlers taking the FIR back is also false. The fight will continue till justice is served.
Let us inform you that the wrestlers, who were agitating for the demand of action on Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, have now returned to their duty. After meeting Home Minister Amit Shah, the wrestlers decided to join the office, while rumors were spread linking the news of wrestlers joining duty with the withdrawal of the protest, for which the wrestlers have expressed strong opposition.
