A incident has been reported in Vikhroli, Mumbai, in which the dead body of mother and son was found in a flat. According to the Maharashtra Police, they have been informed about the hanging of a 22-year-old boy in a flat and the body found in the mother’s bedroom.
According to the Vikhroli police, they came to know about the incident when they came to know that 2 people were found dead in house number 203, B wing of Gulmohar Society, Vikhroli. The body of Tawde’s wife Uma Sanjay Tawde (54) was lying in the bedroom while his son Abhishek Sanjay Tawde (22) was found hanging.
The police immediately took both of them to Rajawadi Hospital where the doctors declared them brought dead. Police has registered a case under ADR and started its investigation, whether these two people have been murdered or it is a case of suicide, it will be known only after investigation. The incident came to light when Sanjay reached home to meet his wife and son, and despite ringing the bell, no one opened the gate for him, so he called the police, after the police arrived, they opened fire. With the help of the brigade, he broke open the door and entered inside the house where he found his wife and son dead.
When the police did the postmortem of the dead body on Monday (June 5), they came to know that while Abhishek died due to suffocation, while the cause of his mother’s death is yet to be ascertained. However, after conducting the postmortem of the dead bodies, the police got them cremated because their bodies were more than 48 hours old. Viscera samples of the dead body have been kept safe for further investigation.
