The Satellites will be equipped with these features
Called Silent Barker, this network of satellites will be the first of its kind to augment the capabilities of ground-based sensors and satellites in low Earth orbit. These satellites will be placed about 22,000 miles (35,400 kilometers) above the Earth and rotate at the same speed, which is known as geosynchronous orbit.
Let us tell you, Geosynchronous Orbit satellites work 22,236 miles (35,786 kilometers) above the Earth. There their speed matches the speed of rotation of the Earth on its axis. In such a situation, they get a chance to keep an eye on a particular point on the surface of the earth. This orbit is widely used for communication and other purposes. Communication satellites of most of the countries of the world are present in this area.
The Space Force is preparing to launch satellites with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). They say that these satellites will provide timely threat detection, the ability to find and track objects from space.
Giving information, NRO said that the satellites called Silent Barker can be launched after July. Its launch date will be announced 30 days in advance on Facebook and Twitter.
