Kagal Bandh (Shutdown):
After such an incident occurred in the birthplace of Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, Kagal city, Hindu extremist organizations became aggressive. The police were immediately informed about the suspicions and they promptly took action. However, the Hindu extremist activists called for a shutdown in Kagal city. Nevertheless, the police held a meeting late at night and urged the parties to withdraw the shutdown. In response to the police’s call, the bandh was canceled.
