Pune: Ghanshyam Darade, who made the entire Maharashtra laugh with his speech and especially known as ‘Chhota Pudari’ in Maharashtra, met with a terrible car accident. This accident has taken place on the Pune-Solapur highway around nine o’clock this Wednesday morning in the limits of Gram Panchayat at Sortapwadi (T. Haveli).
It has been reported that Ghanshyam Darade’s mother and father are two more people in the accident car. Fortunately, there was no loss of life in this accident. However, Darade’s mother was slightly injured and the car was badly damaged.
According to the information received from the accident site, Ghanshyam Darade’s parents and two others were on their way to Pune from Uruli Kanchan on the Pune-Solapur highway on Wednesday morning. At the same time, a sand dumper suddenly hit Darade’s four-wheeler on the upper side of the driver’s side at the fork in Sortapwadi Gram Panchayat boundary.
Ghanshyam Darade was very scared by this accident. However, eyewitnesses said that they calmed down a bit when they realized that no harm had been done and that everyone was safe. The highway was closed for heavy vehicles as the palanquin was going through this route. However, how did this dumper get on the highway anyway? And how did the accident happen? Such a question is now being raised.
The car was damaged in this accident and a large crowd had gathered at the accident site. On getting information about the accident, Darade himself reached the spot. Loni Kalbhor police have reached the spot and are working to get more information.
