The fire brigade official said, ‘It was not a fire incident, a routine maintenance drill where some smoke was coming out of their chimney and it looked like a fire. We took our teams to the spot as well, but there was nothing there, we are still at the spot.
Photos and videos of the fire in the building of Trident Hotel went viral on the Internet, in which it can be seen that black smoke is coming out from the roof of the building. Earlier, the Chief Fire Officer said that ‘a fire has broken out at Trident Hotel in Mumbai. A team of fire officials was dispatched to the hotel. We haven’t received any information about the fire from the hotel. It was controlled by the hotel’s internal fire safety system.
At the same time, the statement of Trident Hotel has also come out in this matter. Hotel management says that there was no fire in the hotel. The work of cleaning the chimney was going on in the hotel, due to which black smoke was visible. Let us inform that even before this there has been a fire in Mumbai’s Trident Hotel. At that time, 10 vehicles of the fire brigade were put on the spot to extinguish the fire. However, there was no loss of life in this fire.
