Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut made a significant forecast regarding potential changes in Maharashtra’s dynamic politics after Ajit Pawar’s shocking Sunday performance. Eknath Shinde would soon be succeeded as chief minister, according to him.
Following Ajit Pawar’s defection to the Shinde-led NDA government in Maharashtra as the second deputy chief minister, with the backing of 29 NCP MLAs, Raut made the remarks during a news conference.
Ajit Pawar will shortly replace Eknath Shinde and will be removed from the administration, according to the fiery leader of the Uddhav Thackeray group, who seemed to be quite certain of his forecast.
“Today, I’m announcing this in front of the camera; the Maharashtra Chief Minister will change. Removed is Eknath Shinde. The 16 MLAs and Eknath Shinde would be dismissed, according to Sanjay Raut, according to news outlet ANI.
Team Uddhav also said that Ajit Pawar did not join the Eknath Shinde-led administration for the deputy CM position in a commentary published in its mouthpiece Saamana.
The BJP is dismantling the Shiv Sena, NCP, and Congress, but this will do them absolutely no good. We shall work together to win the 2024 elections in Maharashtra. Incredibly, PM Modi had said that NCP leaders were crooked, and today those leaders had sworn allegiance at Raj Bhawan,” he continued.
Ajit Pawar, a seasoned party politician and Sharad Pawar’s nephew, was sworn in as the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra, shocking the opposition in what can only be described as a daylight coup.
NCP Chief Sharad Pawar responded to this rift by stating that it was his personal choice and he was not involved.
In the Shinde-BJP cabinet, eight more NCP politicians were also sworn in as ministers.
