Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that the Congress is a “anti-development” party that would halt welfare programs if it were to win power in Madhya Pradesh and that it adheres to the “4Cs, namely corruption, commission, communalism, and criminalization.”
Shah emphasized that the Congress had disregarded renowned lawyer and social reformer Babasaheb Ambedkar and had never awarded him the Bharat Ratna.
Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for building the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, stating it was a fair response to politicians such as Rahul Gandhi who would make fun of the Bharatiya Janata Party by claiming the party talks about building temples but never sets a date for it.
Throughout the day, Shah spoke at two rallies in Shivpuri and one each in Sheopur and Gwalior in the state where elections are scheduled for November 17.
The four Cs that the Congress adheres to are criminalization, commission, corruption, and community rioting. Despite bearing Babasaheb Ambedkar’s image, the Congress disregarded him. Shah said, “The Congress always plotted to ensure he never reached Parliament and did not give him Bharat Ratna.”
“When we came to power in 1990, we gave Babasaheb Ambedkar the Bharat Ratna (a non-Congress National Front government that included the BJP under VP Singh),” said Shah.
According to Shah, MP will celebrate “three Diwalis”: one on January 22, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the idol at the magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya, and another on January 4, when the BJP wins the Assembly elections.
He said that this will be the realization of crores of people’s 500-year-old dreams.
“The Congress obstructed the Ram Temple’s building. I’ve come to invite you to the idol dedication on January 22 in Ayodhya. Rahul Gandhi used to make fun of us when I was the party president by saying, “mandir wahi banayenge par tithi nahi bataayenge.” We are now designating January 22 at 12:30 am as the tithi,” he said.
The Mahakal Lok (in Ujjain) and Kashi Vishwanath avenues have been constructed in addition to the Ram Temple. The temples of Badrinath and Kedarnath are being renovated, and the Somnath temple is being constructed out of gold,” he said.
He attacked the Congress, claiming that the party had always backed anti-national elements and had tarnished the reputation of Hindu spiritual leaders by praising people like Islamic speaker Zakir Naik, who has been accused of radicalization and assisting terrorism.
According to Shah, PM Modi outlawed the Popular Front of India, an organization that the Congress backed.
Praying for Prime Minister Modi, Shah said that September 2016 saw the execution of surgical strikes on militant camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in retaliation for the assault on Uri that claimed the lives of 19 troops.
Shah claimed that although the Modi administration employed airstrikes and surgical strikes to retaliate against terror, the Congress-led UPA government under Dr. Manmohan Singh had previously remained silent in the face of similar atrocities.
Siding MP Congress head Kamal Nath, Shah said that the latter will not be the chief minister after the Assembly elections.
“And if he becomes chief minister, the welfare programs intended for farmers and the Ladli Behna Yojana, which provides women with assistance of Rs 1,250 per month, will be discontinued,” said Shah.
The state’s budget spending was Rs 23,000 crore in 2002 (after almost ten years of Congress control), but it is now Rs 3.18 lakh crore, he claimed.
With the exception of the months between December 2018 and March 2020, when Nath served as chief minister in a coalition headed by the Congress, the BJP has ruled MP since 2003.
“The Congress administration opposes development.” After 15 months in power, they ended a number of assistance programs. They put an end to the plan intended for the Sahariya tribe. They also stopped the mission to treat sickle cell anemia among Native Americans. However, he said, “the BJP brought all the schemes back.”
“Madhya Pradesh needs a BJP administration that works for the benefit of the impoverished, Dalits, OBCs, youth, SCs, STs, and women, not another corrupt Congress government. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s direction, MP needs a double-engine government, Shah said the assembly.
According to Shah, the BJP promoted development by assisting farmers, Dalits, tribal people, OBCs, women, and young people, whereas past Congress administrations had turned MP into a “BIMARU” state. Results of the MP Assembly election will be announced on December 3.
