On March 10, a Bengaluru-bound AIX Connect aircraft with a destination of Lucknow made a quick return to the airport owing to a mechanical fault.
According to official data, 1,090 incidences of mechanical difficulties with different aircraft over the years 2021–202 have been documented.
Technical difficulties may arise during aircraft operation owing to the equipment, systems, or other components installed on the aircraft not performing properly or malfunctioning.
In order to avoid significant mishaps or accidents, the flight crew may need to take steps such as an air turn back, aborted takeoff, or going around.
Before continuing to operate the aircraft, operators take the necessary steps to address the technical issues in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
