The wife of a Mumbai jeweler and his mother-in-law reportedly employed black magic and attempted to have him killed. The jeweler reportedly said that during the Covid-19 epidemic, his wife used to starve him. She, her mother, and a “tantric” allegedly came up with a scheme, and soon after, he had “infections all over his body.”
According to a report, a tantrik, the jeweler’s wife, and her mother were the subjects of a FIR that was filed on August 5 under Criminal Procedure Code Section 156 (3) at the request of the Metropolitan Magistrate Court for an attempted murder and the use of black magic.
The jeweler married in 1989, and the pair has three kids together, according to the story. He said that the pair had been fighting for a number of years. According to the complaint, his sister-in-law told him about the murderous plan in 2018.
According to the article, the jeweler received audio tapes of his wife, mother-in-law, and an unnamed male discussing the scheme via his sister-in-law.
The jeweler said that after that, he started to make his own meals. He had to go without meals during the Covid epidemic since he was unable to order food from restaurants, according to the TOI article, and on certain days his wife wouldn’t let him cook.
Then he moved into a leased apartment in Dadar. But the jeweler stated that starting in 2029, he started to have illnesses all over his body. According to the article, he also received care at a private hospital in a nearby neighborhood.
“I have started getting ill very often. After taking antibiotics, I felt better, but when I stopped taking them, the illness returned. My blood’s white blood cell count had risen, according to the physicians. Every doctor I saw after that, who I saw three to four times total, diagnosed me with an illness, according to the FIR.
Two years later, on December 8, 2022, he received a call from bank representatives informing him that his wife had fallen behind on the rent for the shared locker and requesting that they leave.
According to the story, he went to the bank and discovered that the jewelry he had saved for his daughter’s wedding was gone from the locker.
