The film industry is outraged by the ongoing issue surrounding Deepika Padukone’s alleged demands, which reportedly led to her rumoured departure from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. Actors Kajol and Ajay Devgn have already offered their opinions on the matter.
According to sources, Sandeep did not agree with Deepika’s insistence that she limit her work on Spirit to eight hours per day, given her new duty as a mother.
When asked if Hindi filmmakers are well-receiving the eight-hour shift clause during the trailer release for Kajol’s next movie, Maa, Ajay replied, “It’s not that it’s not going down well with people.” “The majority of sincere filmmakers won’t have any issues with it,” he continued. In addition, most people have begun working eight- to nine-hour shifts after becoming mothers, and some have also started working eight hours.
“I love the fact that you can work less,” added Kajol, who is also the mother of two children, Nysa Devgn and Yug. Despite not naming anyone, Ajay concluded that “It’s person to person, and I feel most of the industry understands this.”
According to sources, Deepika was fired from the movie due to her allegedly unprofessional demands, which included refusing to work more than eight hours a day and requesting additional compensation for shooting that lasted longer than 100 days. This sparked the issue. Later, Sandeep declared that Triptii Dimri would play the major role in Spirit, purportedly taking Deepika’s place.
