Omar Abdullah, vice president of the National Conference, and Mehbooba Mufti, president of the People’s Democratic Party, were in Patna to join the grand alliance of 17 parties that will compete against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 general elections. Union Home Minister Amit Shah began his two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir by criticizing Abdullahs and Muftis and asking them who is to blame for the 42,000 deaths in
Patna will not allow the opposition to unite.
He said that a picture shoot was taking place in Patna in reference to the Patna meeting. “All the opposition leaders are assembling on one stage to send a message that they will challenge the Bharatiya Janata Party, the NDA, and Modi ji,” the statement reads.
He said he intended to let the opposition leaders know that, despite joining forces, their unity was impractical and that, even if they did, the Narendra Modi-led government would retake power in 2024 with more than 300 seats.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has led a corruption-free administration and has provided several advantages to the 60 crore impoverished people of the nation, who in the past had been denied the same, in contrast to the Congress-led UPA administration at the Center, which was engaged in scandals totaling Rs 12 lakh crore.
Speaking about the Indian Prime Minister’s trip to the US, he said that it had been a while since the US had granted him the honor of being a state visitor. The two nations are signing a lot of agreements, particularly in the areas of semiconductors, defense, and space. Under the Prime Minister’s leadership, he said, the top corporations in the world are now considering making investments in India, and he added that Modi has elevated India’s economy to the fifth-largest in the world.
Rahul Gandhi, according to Amit Shah, is constantly opposed. Rahul Baba “has a habit of opposing,” whether it be the repeal of Article 370, the construction of the Ram temple, or the outlawing of triple talaq.
According to Shah, the country’s citizens have determined that Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will face off in the 2024 elections. He encouraged people to support the BJP in 2024 and help install the Modi administration once again.
However, Jammu & Kashmir and Article 370 were the exclusive subjects of his address.
An upcoming new J&K
Under Prime Minister Modi’s direction, a new Jammu and Kashmir is emerging. Jammu and Kashmir was dominated for many years by three families. In addition, Article 370 prevented growth in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorism caused 42,000 fatalities in Jammu & Kashmir. And according to these individuals (PDP-NC), Article 370 should have been kept in place. I want to question Abdullah and the Mufti who is to blame for the deaths of 42,000 people. You made the decision, he said. He said, “In J&K, these three families have ruled.”
He said that Mehbooba Mufti yelled, “Where is the government,” after a recent terrorist attack. “During the ten years of the UPA administration, there were 7,327 terror occurrences, while there were 2,350 during the nine years of the NDA government. According to the BJP administration, there has been a fall of 70%, he claimed.
According to him, between 2004 and 2014, when the Congress-led UPA ruled the nation’s capital, approximately 2,056 civilians died in Jammu and Kashmir, compared to only 377 under the BJP-led NDA. He also noted that after Article 370 was repealed, there was a reduction of 90 percent in incidents of stone-pelting and a decrease of 32 separatist-sponsored strikes. This demonstrates that things are getting better in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
“Gurjar, Pahari, and tribal brethren were denied their rights because of Article 370. The Modi administration repealed Article 370. Everyone now has equal rights here, according to Shah.
According to the Home Minister, the BJP administration has tightened the noose around terrorism and declared that it is now “on the death bed.” These comments were made by Shah as he was speaking at a rally in Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.
There was a murder of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee.
Syama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder and ideologist of the BJP, received praise from Amit Shah.
He said that Mukherjee opposed Article 370 because he thought a country should not have two flags and two heads.
“Today is Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee’s memorial day. Dr. Mukherjee is responsible for the country’s connection to West Bengal today. Jammu and Kashmir is now joined to the rest of India, and Article 370 is no longer in effect. It is the outcome of Mukherjee ji’s tenacity, selflessness, and bravery.
He said that Mukherjee was wrongfully detained in 1953 for unlawfully entering J&K. Why is a permission required to enter one’s own nation, he questioned. He said that Mukherjee was imprisoned unlawfully at the time. He said, “And we all know he was murdered.”
He remarked, “J&K youth have replaced stones with laptops and books.” He said that 1.88 crore visitors came to J&K for the first time last year.
a G-20 summit
The G-20 summit, which took place in Srinagar from May 22 to May 25, according to Shah, was a “grand success.”
Following the repeal of Article 370, “every foreign dignitary has returned to their respective countries with the message of peace and a changing Kashmir,” he added. He said, “It has given good indication for tourism.”
Thousands of public representatives, according to him, enhance the Panchayati Raj system and let the populace’s opinion be heard.
