The Army said that it is offering all-out help to Amarnath Yatris who are trapped on Saturday owing to poor weather while travelling to the cave shrine.
Northern Command of the Army, which has its Udhampur headquarters, tweeted, “#Yatris trapped on way have been evacuated. The 253 pilgrims in the Barari Marg Camp and the 126 pilgrims at the Chandanwari Camp are content. Columns from the #Army provide comfort.
The Indian Army is providing “timely help & necessary assistance,” the army said in a previous remark. the total coordination of all parties to achieve a safe #yatra.
owing to the temporary cancellation of Yatra 2023 owing to severe rains and bad weather, “#ChinarCorps is providing full assistance in terms of shelter, warm clothing, hot meals, heating arrangements, and #Medical aid to #yatris stranded en route.”
“#Indian Army working closely with @ShriSasb, @ndmaindia, @NDRFHQ, @JmuKmrPolice & all other agencies to provide prompt assistance to #pilgrims to ensure #Safety,” reads a statement from the Indian Army. All Yatris are guaranteed to be secure, healthy, and in high spirits, the Army said.
