During her “48 hours in India,” supermodel Ashley Graham had a number of firsts: she donned a saree for the first time, almost misplaced her passport at the Mumbai airport, and posed with Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who even prodded her into doing the now-viral Indian “just looking like a wow” stance.
In October, Graham donned a saree for the first time, and model Elsa Hosk was present at Jio World Plaza’s opening night in Mumbai.
She congratulated the Ambani family on Instagram and posted a reel that included her with celebrities like Sonam Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Graham said she was in shock that the Ambani family had pulled together such a lavish launch celebration in only a few short weeks.
Ashley began the video by saying “it’s my birthday.” She had traveled for “30 hours” to get to India after her stopover in Abu Dhabi.
She said, “When I landed, I misplaced my passport,” as a video of her expressing gratitude to Mumbai airport employees aired. However, because it was located in less than 15 minutes, all is OK.”
Prior to the occasion, the model practiced a golden and cream saree look with famous stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania. Before the launch, she later met stars Sonam and Ranveer.
A video of Ashley “just looking like a wow” from the occasion had also been posted. “It was Ranveer’s idea,” she stated.
