The PureEV, which is built on the GSEV platform, features a simple but roomy design. The Comet EV, the second electric vehicle in MG Motor India’s lineup, has a number of convenient features. at a limited time, the Smart EV-MG Comet will be offered at Rs 7,98,000 (ex-showroom).
On a single charge, the Comet EV is said to have a certified battery range of around 230 kilometres. A 17.3 kWh Li-ion battery with Prismatic Cells that have passed 39 battery and automobile safety tests for a longer cycle life powers the compact car. It has an IP67 rating, making it very dust and water resistant. The Smart EV is equipped with several active and passive safety measures, including ISOFIX child seats, rear parking cameras and sensors, dual front airbags, ABS, and EBD.

A gearbox device known as the Rotary Gear Selector has a futuristic rotary knob embellished with chrome rings and distinctive patterns. Additionally, the central console is furnished with functional elements like buttons for operating the electric windows and a 12-Volt charging connection.
The MG Comet EV has more than 100 voice commands and 55 connected vehicle capabilities. With a 10.25-inch head unit and a 10.25-inch digital cluster, it offers a floating double display widescreen. In addition, the entertainment system has widgets with three pages that may be completely customised, providing users with access to a variety of entertainment and connection possibilities.
