On Wednesday, areas of Bihar were shaken by an earthquake with a value of 4.3 on the Richter Scale.
The 5.35 am earthquake did not result in any recorded casualties or property damage.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake’s epicentre was 10 km under the surface, close to Purnea (NCS).
In Katihar and surrounding parts of Araria, there were tremors.
