Ashok Gehlot, the chief minister of Rajasthan, said on Monday that only the BJP collects money for elections and targets businessmen who wish to give to the Congress. Gehlot also charged the BJP-led administration in charge of the federal government for abusing institutions like the CBI, the Income Tax Department, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
“BJP is the only party that accepts contributions for elections and forbids others from doing so. After visiting an inflation relief camp in Dungarpur, the Chief Minister spoke at a public forum and remarked, “They harass industrialists who want to donate to Congress.”
Gehlot emphasised the policies and initiatives of his administration, claiming that none of the state government’s initiatives were conceived with elections in mind. In order for the Congress party to continue ruling the state, he also pleaded with the populace to support it in the next Assembly elections. Gehlot also reaffirmed his desire for the national government to adopt a legislation establishing a person’s entitlement to social security.
