A big bag often used for e-commerce delivery containing the body of a guy, aged 20 to 25, was discovered in Delhi’s Najafgarh sewer on Tuesday (May 2). Umesh, a resident of Vikas Nagar, was revealed to be the dead.
A police squad was sent to the scene after receiving a PCR call reporting that a huge bag had been dumped into the Najafgarh drain next to the dump yard at Shiv Vihar JJ Colony in Uttam Nagar.
“The claimed huge bag contained the body of a guy. According to M. Harsha Vardhan, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka), a case was filed at the Uttam Nagar police station under the appropriate IPC sections, and further investigation was launched.
Investigations indicated that the deceased had visited his friend Sunny’s room, whom he knew, to take some intoxicating drugs while others were also there.
“There was a fight, and on April 30 in the evening he was killed. On May 1, the accused attempted to dispose of the corpse by throwing it in a bag, according to Vardhan.
According to the official, they have detained Subham alias Viraj and his wife Fatama, but Sunny, the third accused, is still at large.
According to authorities, a case has been filed, and the precise cause of the murder is being looked into.
