Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and former prime minister, laid forth a plan on Saturday to oust the current administration and boost exports in order to address “Pakistan’s issues.”

Khan claims that creating a level playing field does not imply handing others the resources and tying up Khan’s hands; rather, it means providing everyone with an equal chance to succeed. “I want to raise a question to the establishment of Pakistan — it is obvious that a cross is on me, and you won’t allow me to come to power… But do you even have a strategy to preserve Pakistan? he asked the administration.
Khan claims that the 10-point plan to save Pakistan includes attracting foreign investment from Pakistan, facilitating exports, tourism, mining, small and medium-sized industries, agriculture, widening the tax base, and preventing money laundering.
He emphasized that in order to improve governance and boost exports, the nation must make painful choices. He emphasized that Pakistan doesn’t collect enough taxes, which leads to a greater outflow of funds than intake.
Out of 220 million Pakistanis, Khan claims that just 2.5 million pay taxes. He spoke of broadening the tax base as a means of advancement.
Khan said that rising exports will result in rising dollar inflows. In order to attain economic development, he said that government must be completely overhauled.
He said that Pakistan needs to undergo “surgery” to get its home in shape so that Pakistanis living abroad would return with their money.
He recommended giving exporters VIP status and encouraging Pakistanis living abroad to invest. He also suggested restarting the mortgage program that his party had for the first time in Pakistan’s history implemented and lending money to young people to start businesses.
