Pune: An unfortunate incident has taken place where a Pune Police Force personnel who successfully summited Mount Everest died during treatment. The policeman’s name is Swapnil Gard. His condition worsened after climbing Mount Everest. They were brain dead. He was admitted to a hospital in Kathmandu for treatment. However, he breathed his last around 4 pm on Friday.
More information about this is that Swapnil Gard was working in Pune Police Force. He was fond of climbing. Earlier he had climbed many peaks of the world. As it was a holiday, he went to climb Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world. He also completed the Everest expedition. The tricolor was also hoisted there in obeisance to the idol of Shivaji Maharaj. Photos of this were revealed. However, he felt unwell while descending the peak and was admitted to a hospital in Kathmandu.
The doctor informed that he was brain dead during the treatment. A team of Pune police had left for Nepal to bring Gard to Pune as soon as the incident was reported. However, he died while undergoing treatment. Due to this incident, mourning has spread over the Pune Police Force.
