Manish Sisodia, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and an imprisoned former deputy chief minister of Delhi, is scheduled to have his bail request heard by the Supreme Court on Monday.
On Monday at 10:30 a.m., the two-judge Supreme Court bench made up of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti will deliver the decision.

Senior Advocate Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi argued on behalf of Sisodia against the Centre at the last hearing of the case on October 17. Regarding the bail request, the Supreme Court has postponed making a judgment.
In a previous hearing on October 5, the top court had asked the federal agencies looking into the Delhi liquor policy issue pointed questions and demanded proof that they claimed to have against Sisodia.
“Where’s the evidence? The evidence—where is it? A chain must be established. The liquor lobby must provide the individual with money. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) were questioned by the Supreme Court during the bail petition hearing, “Where are the proceeds of the crime? ”
The judge had said that “the inferences in the case against Manish Sisodia seem to be based on hearsay and will fall flat in two minutes” .
Case involving Sisodia
Leading AAP politician Manish Sisodia is now on trial in allegations of money laundering and corruption connected to schemes being looked into by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
The former deputy chief minister was taken into custody for his suspected involvement in the Delhi excise policy scandal as well as for having signed papers that facilitated the distribution of cash for his assembly constituency’s development projects. Since February, he has been in judicial detention.
