Around 6.30 am, it warned that light to moderate rain and gusty winds with speeds of 40 to 70 kmph will persist in Delhi-NCR and surrounding regions for the next two hours.
The highest temperature in Delhi on Friday was 34.5 degrees Celsius, which is five degrees below average.
