Dhule: Time has taken its toll on a family returning home from Nashik after the Gandh Mukti programme. It has come to light that three people have died in a terrible accident. Three people from Amalner were killed and four others were injured in an accident when a four-wheeler traveling at high speed from Nashi to Amalner fell under a small bridge near Navalnagar in Dhule taluk. The accident took place on Friday around 6.30 pm. The deceased have been identified as Sarlabai Pandit Patil (age 45), Meenabai Rajendra Patil (age 50), and Shahu Vijay Patil (age 10, all of Amalner).
Patil was coming to Amalner in a family car (No.MH 04-FZ3689) after completing the deodorization program from Nashik. There were about seven to eight people in the car. The speeding car fell off a moored bridge near Navalnagar village on Phagane-Amalner road. The accident was so terrible that three people in the car died.
The family, who were on their way home from Nashik after completing religious rituals, met with an accident near Navalnagar village in Phagane Amalner in Dhule. Three people have died in this accident. All the deceased in the accident are from Amalner.
Four people in the car were injured in this accident. With the help of villagers, the injured were admitted to Hire Medical College in an ambulance. As soon as the information about the accident was received, Police Inspector Dattatray Shinde, Sub-Inspector Anil Mahajan and the staff of Dhule Taluka Police Station rushed to the spot. In this case, the work of registering the accident in the Dhule taluka police started till late at night.
Meanwhile, there has been an increase in the number of road accidents in the state for the past few days. Accidents are happening every day in the state and many people are losing their lives. Accidents are increasing due to poor road condition, over speeding, distraction while driving. So citizens must follow traffic rules while driving.
