Concerning BAPS Hindu Mandir
The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is constructing the traditional Hindu house of worship known as the BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. When the mandir is finished, it will be the first Middle Eastern traditional Hindu stone mandir. Situated on 55,000 square meters of land, the mandir was blessed by Mahant Swami Maharaj and inspired by Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Handcrafted by Indian craftsmen, the mandir will be put together in the United Arab Emirates. The mandir will be a fully operational social, cultural, and spiritual complex that combines all the elements and characteristics of a typical Hindu mandir. The complex will include a visitor center, prayer halls, exhibits, learning spaces, a kid-friendly sports area, water features, themed gardens, a food court, bookstores, and gift shops.
