Tragic Incident Claims Lives of Four Brothers in Road Accident
AURANGABAD, MAHARASHTRA – In a devastating turn of events, four brothers hailing from Chotapally met with a fatal road accident in the early hours of May 24. The victims, identified as Erukala Krishna, Erukala Sanjeev, Erukala Suresh, and Erukala Vasu, had migrated to Surat, Gujarat, several years ago in search of livelihood opportunities.
According to reliable sources, the unfortunate incident occurred after the brothers returned to their hometown to perform the last rites of their relative, Erukala Kanakaiah, who had passed away four days prior. Kanakaiah’s impoverished family was unable to afford the final rites, prompting the four brothers to travel all the way from Surat to fulfill this solemn duty. After completing the rituals on Tuesday, they began their journey back to Surat in a car.
Tragedy struck when their vehicle collided with a road divider and flipped over while passing through Aurangabad in the early hours of Wednesday. The impact claimed the lives of Krishna, Sanjeev, and Vasu instantaneously at the scene of the accident. Suresh, who suffered injuries in the collision, succumbed to a cardiac arrest upon reaching the hospital for medical treatment. Thankfully, Bhargav Ram, Suresh’s son, survived the incident with minor injuries.
Prior to the unfortunate incident, the four brothers had settled into various professions in Surat, including plumbing, power looms, and operating dish services. Their migration was fueled by the pursuit of better livelihood prospects.
This tragic accident has left the community mourning the loss of four beloved brothers, highlighting the fragility of life and the profound impact it has on those left behind.
