Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai will begin operating 975 flights a day to 115 different destinations this winter from October 29. The airport said in a statement that it would be increasing flight operations this season on a number of new routes.
“With an amazing connectivity offering connecting travelers to 115 different destinations, the winter schedule will witness new destinations offering more than 975 daily flight movements experiencing about an 8 per cent increase vis-a-vis winter schedule of 2022.” The airport in Mumbai released a statement.
The airport further stated that the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) is expanding flight operations with new anticipated international routes to Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Bali, Indonesia, in addition to facilitating the resumption of operations by Air Canada and Azerbaijan Airlines. The winter schedule will run from October 29 to March 30, 2024.
The airport also said that travelers to and from Mumbai now have access to a number of exciting holiday spots, such as Entebbe, Lagos, and other alluring African locations.

The airport said that travelers had a wide range of options, including Tokyo for a mix of winter sun and urban activities, tropical locations like the Maldives, the energetic cities of He Chi Minh and Hanoi in Vietnam, and the beautiful islands of Mauritius and Seychelles.
According to the Mumbai airport, Emirates debuted its Premium Economy cabin class in India on October 19, with CSMIA serving as its first hub. The airport said, “The airline will formally launch this cabin class on October 30th.”
“In terms of airlines, Chhatrapati Shivaji Mahara CSMIA is trailed by IndiGo, which has a 38 percent market share. Air India comes in second with an 18% market share, while Vistara maintains a solid third place with a 15% share, the report said.
