Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde was on target of the opposition after going on a three-day leave. Eknath Shinde has replied to the opponents differently. Shinde said that I am not on leave but on double duty. Speculations were rife in political circles that CM Eknath Shinde was upset and went on leave to his village in Satara for three days. This statement of Shinde is considered very important amidst all the discussions in the politics of Maharashtra.
A statement from the CMO said that Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde disposed of 65 files through video conferencing. Shinde also said that he never takes leave. He said, ‘I am currently on a tour of Satara. I inspected the bridge at Tapola and performed Bhumi Pujan of Tapola Mahabaleshwar Road. I also held a review meeting regarding tourism in Mahabaleshwar. Therefore it is not true that I am on leave. I am on double duty. Those who are making allegations have nothing else to do. They have been made to sit at home. That’s why they will talk. We will answer the allegations with work.’
Maharashtra CM Shinde said, ‘I have not become relaxed after coming to Satara. Many people came here to meet me. My emphasis is on solving the problems of the people here. Meetings are being held for this. According to the officials, this visit of the CM was already scheduled. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut also taunted the question about CM Shinde’s visit to Satara. Raut said, ‘The picture in the state and the country is such that the CM will be asked to go on a long leave. Shinde is practicing for this.
