A major road accident has taken place in Afghanistan. 25 people died in this accident. The number of deaths includes 9 children and 12 women. According to information, 25 people died in the accident of a minibus in northern Afghanistan. The police gave this information on Wednesday. Police said the occupants of the minibus were returning from a wedding ceremony when the accident happened in a mountainous area with bumpy roads in Sar-e-Pul province.
They were traveling from one part of Sayyid district to another. Deen Mohammad Nazari, spokesman for the local police commander, blamed the minibus driver for the accident. The vehicle fell into a deep gorge due to the negligence of the driver, he said. He did not say whether any passengers survived.
