The newest smartphone from POCO, the X5 5G, has been introduced in India. The 48MP primary camera, up to 1TB of expandable storage, 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging, and 120Hz AMOLED display with Corning’s protection are some of the highlights.
The tablet costs Rs. 18,999 in its standard 6GB/128GB configuration. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting on March 21.
POCO is a well-known smartphone maker in India’s internet market. With the introduction of the X5 Pro 5G, the company has now introduced the non-Pro variant. The X5 5G looks to be an X4 Pro 5G with some minor modifications.
Yet it doesn’t scrimp on features. The feature-rich phone is likely to get positive reviews because of its reasonable pricing.
The POCO X5 5G sports a side-facing fingerprint scanner, an IP53 certification, and a punch-hole in the core of the device. It features a full-width rectangular camera bump on the rear that is marked with the POCO brand. The gadget boasts a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The POCO X5 5G has three cameras: a 48MP (f/1.8) main camera, an 8MP (f/2.2) 118-degree ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera. It sports a front-facing 13MP (f/2.45) camera for selfies and video calls.
The POCO X5 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G processor and offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Android 12 is running MIUI 13 on the smartphone. It can accommodate a 5,000mAh battery that enables 33W rapid charging. The 5G-capable gadget supports dual SIMs, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, a 3.5mm connector, and a Type-C port.
The POCO X5 5G costs Rs. 18,999 and Rs. 20,999 in India for its 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB versions, respectively. It will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting on March 21. Using ICICI Bank cards, consumers may enjoy a Rs. 2,000 immediate discount.
