Maharashtra News: In the Thane region of Maharashtra, a transgender person, who was about 30 years old, was bludgeoned to death by a third-gender person, according to authorities.
The transgender individuals were in a relationship and shared a home in the Ghaibi Nagar neighborhood, according to the station house officer of Bhiwandi Town Police Station.
The deceased was fatally struck by their partner with a floor tile during one of their many fights about 1:30 PM on Monday, according to the official. The two often quarreled over trivial matters.
A transgender resident of the neighbourhood told the media that during the altercation between the two on Monday, neighbors sought to step in but were repelled by the accused who said it was a private problem.
According to the official, a complaint has been filed under Indian Penal Code Section 302 (murder), and a search has been started to find the suspect.
