Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said on Monday that at the national level today he does not see any other strong leader like PM Narendra Modi. Speaking to reporters in Pune, Ajit Pawar said that some people might be criticizing him for his decision to join the Shiv Sena-BJP government, but a person can have a different opinion based on his experiences. Sharad Pawar’s nephew Ajit Pawar had joined the Maharashtra government on July 2 along with eight MLAs of the party.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently said in Pune that Ajit Pawar came to the right place after a long time, but came too late. When asked to react to Amit Shah’s statement, Ajit Pawar said, “I have taken the initiative to take the state towards development, bring changes in the sector, focus on various issues and help the elected representatives complete their work.” Has decided to join the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition government.” Deputy CM Ajit Pawar further said,” I personally do not see any leader as strong as Narendra Modi at the national level today. I don’t see any other option.”
Ajit Pawar is being criticized for joining the Maharashtra government. On this he said that some people criticize me by citing my previous statements but a person can have different opinion based on his experiences. Praising the work of PM Modi and Amit Shah, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said, “PM Modi has made a provision of Rs 25,000 crore for the renovation of 500 railway stations, which includes 44 railway stations in Maharashtra.” The Union Minister after taking charge of the Cooperative Ministry took bold decisions which were not taken for the last 20 to 22 years.
