Let us tell you that a few days ago the Pune police had arrested two accused Mohd Imran Alias (23 years) and Mohd Yunus. He was arrested by the police on suspicion of stealing a bike. After their arrest, the Pune Police came to know that these accused are wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a case in Rajasthan. ATS sources said that the arrested accused were planning to carry out several terror activities and were linked to Al-Sufa.
During the arrest, the ATS seized explosives, drone related equipment, laptops and incriminating books written in Arabic from the accused. The ATS suspects that the accused had planned to carry out a terrorist attack using a motorcycle. The ATS has registered a case under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) to probe the conspiracy of Al-Sufa in Maharashtra. NIA sources told that BJP leaders and RSS members were to be targeted in this terror conspiracy. After the investigation, it was proved that some Indian Mujahideen leaders based in Karachi were also involved, due to which the Union Ministry of Home Affairs handed over the case to the NIA. Investigation has also revealed that this organization was using internet to radicalize the youth of Rajasthan.
