Maharashtra Board HSC Results 2023 Declared: Pass Percentage Stands at 94.52%
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the release of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or Class 12 board exam results today, May 25, 2023. This year, the pass percentage stands at an impressive 94.52%, with girls surpassing boys in performance.
A total of 14,34,441 students appeared for the HSC exams this year, out of which 13,47,452 students have successfully passed. The pass percentage for girls stands at 96.23%, while for boys it is 92.78%.
Sneha Raut from Mumbai secured the highest marks in the HSC exams, scoring an outstanding 99.95%. Sneha is a student of the National Public School, Vile Parle. Following closely, Vaidehi Patil from Pune obtained the second highest marks with a remarkable score of 99.90%. Vaidehi is a student of the Podar International School, Pune.
The MSBSHSE also released the list of subject-wise toppers. Sneha Raut topped the Science stream, Vaidehi Patil excelled in Commerce, and Avni Chavan emerged as the topper in the Arts stream, both hailing from Mumbai.
