Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, said on Tuesday that the Shiv Sena-BJP-NCP coalition would win a landslide in the state and that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NDA will retake power in 2024 with an even larger majority.
When speaking with reporters in this location, Shinde characterized the opposition alliance as a confederation of angry political groups united only in their animosity for Modi.
“The more seats the NDA wins, the more they will criticize Modi. We saw this in 2014, in 2019, and again in 2024, according to Shinde, who was present at the meeting of NDA members presided over by the prime minister.
Shinde said that Modi’s effort over the last nine years speaks for itself and has even received international recognition.
He said that the addition of the Ajit Pawar-led NCP to the “double-engine” administration run by the Shiv Sena and the BJP has strengthened the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Maharashtra.
“The ruling alliance will win more than 45 seats (out of a total of 48 seats in Maharashtra), and even a clean sweep cannot be ruled out,” Shinde said.
