But on the afternoon of August 10, a student stabbed him badly. But now the CCTV video of this incident is going viral. The injured teacher is undergoing treatment in ICU at Bhaktivedanta Hospital, Mira Road. It is clearly visible in this CCTV video how a student stands near the teacher and then suddenly attacks.
Police said that the name of the injured teacher is Raju Thakur, who teaches coaching to students up to class 12 at Penkar Pada campus in Kashimira. The victim takes private classes in the name of Thakur Academy. Last Thursday afternoon around 2:30 pm, when Raju Thakur was standing and talking with other boys on the roadside, a student came and sat beside him comfortably. But then suddenly the accused takes out a sharp knife from behind and stabs Raju on the back. As soon as Raju tries to recover after the first attack, the accused student tries to attack him again, but this time Raju escapes. While trying to escape, the accused student again hits Raju and stabs him on the other side as well.
Senior Police Inspector Sandeep Kadam told that the boy who attacked the teacher is a minor and after attacking the teacher himself reached the police station. In this regard, a case under section 326 has been registered against the minor at Kashimira police station and he has been taken into custody. What was the motive of the student behind the attack on the teachers, the police is probing it.
