A video of NCC cadets being mercilessly thrashed during a training session at Bandodkar and Joshi Bedekar College in Thane, Maharashtra is going viral. The sensation spread as soon as the video surfaced. It is clearly visible in the viral video that during the training, 10 students were kept on their heads on the ground full of water and mud. During this, a person is mercilessly beating the students with a stick for making a slight mistake.
At the same time, this issue echoed in the monsoon session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. LOP Vijay Wadettiwar raised the issue of NCC cadets. On this, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar directed the government to conduct an inquiry and take strict action against the guilty.
On this matter, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar replied that the state government will conduct a detailed inquiry into the matter as it is shown in the video that cadets are being thrashed in an inhuman manner and this method of training can never be accepted.
In this case, Joshi Bedekar College Principal Suchitra Naik says that the person seen beating the students in the video is not a teacher. Whoever is the head of NCC, is a senior student of NCC only. Such incidents are very shameful. Due to this incident, the good work done by NCC also gets covered.
Prince said- We will not tolerate this kind of behavior. Students who have faced this should not panic. All the students should come and meet us and should not even think of leaving NCC. The principal said that in the absence of the teacher, action will be taken against the student who has carried out the incident.
