Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut from the Uddhav Thackeray faction made serious allegations against the Center and the BJP government. He said that you did not invoke sedition law against Pune-based scientist Pradeep Kurulkar, who sold defense secrets to Pakistan. He is a staunch worker of RSS. Did you remove sedition law just to save him?

On the Indian Judicial Code Bill 2023, Congress MP Manish Tiwari said that freedom of speech and expression has been taken out in this bill. Therefore, my demand is that the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Vice-President of India, who is the Chairman of the Council of States, should constitute a Joint Committee of Parliament to examine each of these. In fact, the Indian Security Bill 2023 and the Indian Civil Security Code Bill have been introduced in the Lok Sabha by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
