Political upheaval has been going on continuously in Maharashtra for the last few months. On one side the struggle between Eknath Shinde and Uddhav Thackeray continues. On the other hand, there is a tussle between Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut has given a statement regarding NCP. While giving a statement, he has said that according to me there has been a split in the NCP. If it is not so, then how come there are two national presidents and state presidents of the same party?
He said that Ajit Pawar ousted Sharad Pawar from the NCP and removed him from the post of president. When Pawar saheb took action against the Ajit group, it proved that the party is divided. He said, ‘I will meet Sharad Pawar and discuss about the statement given by Ajit Pawar. Sharad Pawar is still in the I.N.D.I.A alliance with us. Whichever faction has gone with the BJP, they cannot be a part of Mahavikas Aghadi or I.N.D.I.A.’
Significantly, Ajit Pawar broke away from the party and joined BJP and Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde faction along with his supporting MLAs. After this, Ajit Pawar was made the deputy CM of Maharashtra and his MLAs were given ministerial posts. Let us tell you that upcoming meeting of I.N.D.I.A is going to be held in Mumbai only. In such a situation, the flag and symbol of the opposition alliance will also be unveiled in this meeting.
